This 3D animation aims to educate undergraduate biology students on the bacteriophage lytic cycle, which results in the lysis of bacteria and spread of viral infection, as seen above. The animation breaks down the process into the major steps with the goal for students will understand and remember the key moments of the animation that correlate to the steps of the cycle.
